Terms & Conditions – Enjoy Ride Corfu Rentals

By renting a vehicle from Enjoy Ride Corfu, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings and rental agreements. Additional specific terms may apply depending on the type of vehicle, insurance selected, and extras requested.

1. Age Requirements

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we aim to make car rental accessible to more travelers — including young drivers — while ensuring safety and proper insurance coverage.

Our age policy is as follows:

Drivers aged 18–23

• May rent vehicles from Groups A, B, and C, provided they have held a valid driving license for at least 1 month.
• Please note: Drivers in this age group cannot select the Full Insurance (Zero Excess) option.

Drivers aged 24–70

• May rent any vehicle category and are eligible for all available insurance options, including Zero Excess.

Drivers aged 71–75

• May rent vehicles from Groups A, B, and C only.
• Full Insurance (Zero Excess) is not available for this age group.

Unlike many other rental companies, we proudly accept young drivers from the age of 18, as long as they meet the license requirement — because everyone deserves the freedom to explore Corfu safely.

2. Driving License Requirements

To rent a car with Enjoy Ride Corfu, all drivers must hold a full, valid driving license  

We proudly rent to all licensed drivers aged 18 and above – no upper age limit.

All of our vehicles are fully insured for young and senior drivers, making us one of the few companies on Corfu offering this flexibility.

We accept:

• Original EU driving licenses (no translation or international license required)
• UK driving licenses — both national and international formats are accepted
• Driving licenses from non-EU countries, as long as they are printed in Latin characters

(If your license is in a non-Latin alphabet, you must also present an International Driving Permit)

3. Reservations

All reservations with Enjoy Ride Corfu are made based on vehicle categories, not specific car models. While we always do our best to provide the exact model selected, availability cannot be guaranteed.

In case the chosen model is not available at the time of pickup:

• A similar vehicle from the same category will be offered
• If no similar model is available, we may offer a free upgrade to a vehicle from a higher category — at no extra cost

Customers may reserve a vehicle for any duration, even just a few hours. However, please note that the minimum chargeable period is one day (24 hours) — regardless of the number of hours booked.

For rental extensions, the renter must contact Enjoy Ride Corfu in advance to renew the contract and confirm availability and pricing.

If the vehicle is returned later than the agreed time, additional charges will apply.

In the case of delayed drop-off, a half-day charge (½ of the daily rate) may be added depending on the duration of the delay.

4. Traffic & Parking Fines

The renter is fully responsible for the payment of any traffic or parking fines, as well as any administrative penalties, incurred during the rental period.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Illegal parking
• Speed limit violations
• Driving in restricted areas
• Any other breach of Greek traffic laws

5. Deposit

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we do not require any security deposit when renting a vehicle.

You pay only for the rental period — with no blocked amounts on your card and no hidden charges.

6. Taxes & VAT

All prices displayed on the Enjoy Ride Corfu website include VAT (Value Added Tax) at 24%.

There are no additional taxes or hidden fees added to the final price during checkout.

7. Pets & Animals

Pets and animals are not allowed in our vehicles unless transported in appropriate pet carriers or equipment.

If you plan to travel with a pet, please contact us in advance so we can confirm availability and provide guidance.

8. Insurance Coverage

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we offer three levels of insurance coverage, so you can choose the protection that best suits your needs.

All options include:

• Third Party Insurance
• Personal Accident Insurance
• Unlimited Mileage
• No Deposit Required

What Insurance Doesn’t Cover

Insurance is void in cases of:

• Driving under influence of alcohol or drugs
• Off-road driving or reckless behavior
• Wrong fuel usage
• Lost keys or theft due to negligence
• Damage to interiors, roof, or undercarriage
• Unlisted drivers operating the vehicle
• Vandalism from the renters and from third parties is not covered by any insurance.

 The available insurance levels are:

• Basic Insurance – Included in all rentals
• Standard Insurance – Available at an additional daily cost
• Full Insurance (Zero Excess) – Available at an additional daily cost for drivers aged 24–70 only

Drivers aged 18–23 and 71–75 can select only Basic insurance.

Optional Insurance Upgrades:

• Premium cover with lower excess (responsibility-liability)
• Theft & fire protection
• Tire and glass protection
• Personal accident insurance

You can find the excess on each car group at the boxes of insurances.

**Important notice **

The excess amount of each car group must be paid exclusively by the customer and the rest amount will be covered the insurance

Accidents

In the event of an accident:

• Contact us immediately
• Contact the police and obtain a police report
• Insurance claims require a police report If fault is unclear, the excess may be temporarily charged and later refunded if you’re not at fault.

• After an accident, driver doesn’t stop and doesnt take the necessary actions, such as informing our company, the Traffic Police (100), getting names and addresses of those involved in the accident, and not moving the car from the point where the accident took place before the representative of the insurance company or the Traffic Police arrives.

  The renter has full responsibility in the following cases where insurance coverage does not apply:

  Damage to the interior or exterior of the vehicle without an officially reported accident.

  Damage to the underside of the vehicle caused by driving on unpaved or off-road surfaces.

  Clutch burnout due to improper use.

  Engine damage caused by negligence or by a broken oil pan while driving off paved roads.

  Situations where the vehicle becomes stuck or displaced (e.g., on beaches, mountains, etc.).

  If the vehicle is driven by someone not authorized or listed in the rental agreement.

  Any incident or damage caused under the influence of alcohol or drugs, through intentional actions, reckless behavior, or off-road driving.

  In all of the above cases, the renter is fully liable for any resulting costs or damages.
  Failure to report any accident or damage immediately may be considered negligence. In such instances, insurance coverage may be voided entirely

Fair Damage Assessment

For any damage, the cost is never estimated arbitrarily.
We use the official DAT Group system, a trusted European automotive platform used by insurance companies and repair centers, ensuring standardized and transparent pricing.
This means you are never overcharged—all repair costs follow official, certified values.

9. Extras & Additional Drivers

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we offer a variety of optional extras to enhance your rental experience. Many are offered free of charge, while others are available at a low daily rate.

Available Extras:

Booster Seat (+20kg)

First seat free of charge, then 3€/day

Baby Seat (2–19kg)

First seat free of charge, then 4€/day

Infant Capsule (0–2kg)

First capsule free of charge, then 4€/day

Additional Driver

The second driver is free, each extra driver after that is charged at €5.00/day

Drive Outside Corfu Island

Allowed only with prior written authorization
Charged at 30€/day

10. Our Vehicles

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we aim to provide the exact car model you selected during the booking process. However, in rare cases due to last-minute operational factors, we may need to offer a similar vehicle from the same category.

Our vehicles are:

• Fully cleaned and disinfected before each rental
• Routinely serviced and thoroughly inspected for safety and comfort
• Covered by 24-hour road assistance and emergency support

• Road Assistance

  All vehicles provided by our company are insured and come with free roadside assistance under specific conditions. The roadside assistance covers the following cases:

  • Mechanical failure not caused by the renter.

  • Mechanical malfunctions of the vehicle during the rental period.

  • Road accidents.

  • Dead battery issues.

  In any of the above cases, our company will provide immediate support to resolve the issue at no additional cost.

  For further information or to report an incident, please contact us immediately.

In the event of a breakdown, the company is obliged to replace the vehicle within 24 hours, ensuring minimal disruption to your trip.

In any case of vehicle replacement that is not due to a technical fault, malfunction, or other issue with the vehicle, all transportation costs and related charges, including VAT, shall be borne exclusively by the renter.

11. Fuel Policy (Same-to-Same)

Vehicles are delivered with a specific fuel level, and must be returned with the same level (Same-to-Same policy).

• Fuel used during the rental period is the responsibility of the renter.
• If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the renter will be charged for the missing amount.
• If the vehicle is returned with more fuel, no refund will be issued.

12. Vehicle Cleanliness Policy

1)Pets are not allowed in the car.

2)Smoking is not allowed in the car.

3) Food is not allowed

4) Swimwear is not allowed.

All vehicles are delivered fully cleaned and disinfected before each rental.

Upon return, we ask that vehicles are returned in a reasonably clean condition. Depending on the level of dirtiness, the following fees may apply:

Light Cleaning Fee – 15€

Applied in cases of excessive but superficial dirt, such as:

• Sand, mud, or stains on carpets or seats
• Spilled snacks or drinks
• General untidiness that requires extra cleaning effort

Deep Cleaning Fee – 60€

Applied in cases requiring professional or biological cleaning, such as:

• Large liquid spills (e.g. coffee, alcohol, milk)
• Strong or persistent odors (e.g. smoke)
• Any condition that prevents immediate reuse of the vehicle

13. Out of Office Hours – Delivery & Collections

Enjoy Ride Corfu offers free delivery and collection at Corfu International Airport during our standard operating hours:

• Free of charge between 08:00 and 21:59
• For deliveries or collections outside these hours, an overnight service fee of 30€ applies
• All other locations (e.g. hotels, villas, marina) are served upon request and may include delivery fees

Corfu Airport Bookings

If your reservation is from Corfu Airport, a representative will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm the meeting point and vehicle details.

Pickup takes place just outside the Arrivals Terminal (Area A).

If you prefer to walk to us, our new office is located just 500 meters from the airport.

Corfu Port, Gouvia Marina, Hotels & Villas

We deliver vehicles directly to your location (Corfu Port, Gouvia Marina, hotels, villas) at the agreed time.

Please ensure we can reach you via mobile (WhatsApp or Viber) on the day of delivery.

To request delivery to a specific location:

• On the booking page, select Other Area (Please Specify in Notes) under the pick up location option.
• At comments section of the booking form, please provide the exact details of your preferred location for example ( hotel or name of specific address).

Pay-on-Arrival Bookings

For pay-on-arrival bookings, if you are delayed and cannot make the scheduled pickup time, you must notify us in advance.

Otherwise, the vehicle will only be held for 30 minutes from the agreed time.

14. Travel Outside Corfu

Taking a vehicle outside Corfu Island (within Greek national territory) is not permitted without prior written authorization from Enjoy Ride Corfu.

If you wish to take the vehicle to mainland Greece or another island:

• You must request permission in advance
• An additional fee applies (see "Extras")
• Written approval is required to validate insurance and roadside assistance
• The cost of this service is 30€ per day.

Without written authorization:

• Insurance coverage and roadside assistance are not valid
• All vehicles are GPS-tracked, and our team is notified immediately in case of unauthorized ferrying

IMPORTANT: Unauthorized travel outside Corfu may result in penalties and cancellation of coverage.

15. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your reservation at any time by contacting us via email at info@enjoyridecorfu.com or through WhatsApp/Viber.

Our cancellation terms are as follows:

• 100% refund for cancellations made 7 days or more before the scheduled pickup time
• No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before pickup

No-Show Policy

If the renter does not show up at the agreed pickup time without prior notice, the reservation will be automatically cancelled after 1 hour.

This condition does not apply in cases of flight or ferry delays, as long as the customer notifies us in advance.

Early Returns

If the vehicle is returned earlier than the scheduled return date, no refund or credit is issued for the unused rental days.

16. Data Protection

At Enjoy Ride Corfu, we are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your personal data.

We collect and process only the necessary information to manage your reservation and ensure a smooth rental experience. This includes:

• Name and contact details
• Driver's license and age confirmation
• Rental details and communication history

All data is handled in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We do not share your information with third parties except when required by law or for essential rental services (e.g., insurance providers, payment processors).

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion
• Withdraw consent at any time

17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece.

In the event of any dispute or disagreement arising from a rental agreement with Enjoy Ride Corfu, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Corfu, Greece.

18.GPS Application Data

19. Final Provisions

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Any updates will be published on our official website and apply to new reservations only.

Enjoy Ride Corfu is not responsible for:

• Any use of the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Off-road driving or reckless/dangerous behavior
• Damage or accidents that occur without a valid police report — such cases are not covered by insurance
